Pastor David Woods Jr & Lady Adrianne Woods
Pastor David Woods Jr. was born and raised in Panama City, Florida. He grew up from a youth to a young man at Holy Temple Church of God in Christ, under the leadership of Superintendent R.L. McCloud. After Elder McCloud's death, he served under the current Pastor, W.C. Green. From a child the unseen hand of God was upon him, for he was very sick as a child with asthma, but God healed him of that disease. At a young age, while working in the Church ,he held many positions at Holy Temple, including Assistant Youth Pastor. As God prepared him for the Call "his heart hurt for the children he had to leave at Holy Temple, but nevertheless, Pastor David Woods ,Jr ,upon saying "Yes Lord" answered the call and has shown diligence in making his election sure, when he came to a quaint little town in the Panhandle of Florida called Chipley in 1996 to build a Church for the Kingdom of God. He later met and fell in love with the beautiful Lady Adrienne Woods. Now the dynamic duo are partnered together doing the work of the ministry for the Kingdom of God.

Holy Greetings to all of you my Fathers’ children. Happy New Year 2020 has already gotten off to an explosive start. We are so excited about the Vision that has come to pass and are waiting in anticipation of the future as the Holy Ghost guides and the ministering angels bring for us all the blessings assigned in this season. The theme for 2020 is “Travailing in Prayer Birthing Ministry and Maturing in Christ”, Galatians 4:19, John 20:21 – 23; Ephesians 6:18. This theme demands a return to prayer and meditation upon the word of God as individuals. A return to the intercessory prayer by those who have a burden for the lost. Praying as a spiritual unit, the Body of Christ within the House of Prayer.
Your gifts and callings are unique and given in Christ before the world began. Now is the time for you to function in that anointing producing the ministry of you, a child of God. James 5:16 states “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much”. KJV Therefore you can go forth with perfect understanding and faith that Jesus has already won the victory over every force that could work against you. Even Satan, the world, and even your own flesh.
The word travailing means to toil or work in a laborious nature. We are going to travail in prayer in the name of Jesus until our spouses are saved, children are delivered, and lives are changed by the Word and power of God. It is already happening.!
The Lord wants you to partake of this heavenly calling. My only desire for you is that you fulfill that will of the Father in your life as His sons and daughters. You are an heir, a joint heir with Christ. This is your time to reign as kings in the world, serve as priest in the tabernacle and advance the Kingdom of heaven on earth.
Here at YLD, we welcome the opportunity to learn with you, grow with you and prevail with you. The victory has already been won by our elder brother Jesus and it is the Fathers business.
